Thanks to all the museums, art centers, and theaters above—for not consenting to exhibit the work.

  • I scanned my breasts, buttocks, and genitals on a copy machine and printed them on A4 paper. I carried the prints with me while visiting nine art museums, galleries, and theaters across California. At each venue, I used Band-Aids to stick them at random—on gallery walls, on pillars inside theaters where performances were underway, or on other surfaces in the space.

  • The only print on photo paper was the chest scan I placed at LACMA. That day, having forgotten to bring paper copies, I used a self-service photo machine at a nearby film shop to print one on the spot.

  • The Getty Museum is a private institution built on a personal collection. Visitors pass through strict security screening before taking a tram up to the galleries. During inspection, staff saw my nude body prints but said nothing. Notably, this museum had far more security personnel in each gallery than the others I visited.

  • After putting up the prints, I exited the gallery with the normal visitor flow. Sometimes I changed clothes outside and went back in to check. Sometimes the prints were already gone; other times they were still there.

  • Special thanks to my helper K for technical support and full documentation.
